My 1963 Shasta was missing one of her side windows due to the previous owner having a window air conditioner in it. I have been looking high and low for a replacement to no avail ....yet. This afternoon I dug through all my miscellaneous boxes and came up with this for now. I have to admit... kinda love it!
It's made with a scrap piece of wood that I painted silver, then attached a mirror and a floor grate to it.
OH MY WORD! I am just crazy about this grate look. Utterly fantastic! Way to reuse, upcycle, upgrade, classy. I think the original mfg would agree, this is a neat solution to a typical problem. Love the creative aspect of it.
